Northwest CR Purpose

The Purpose of the Celebrate Recovery ministry is to provide a safe and enjoyable place where acceptance is the norm; to receive loving affirmation and recovery from our hurts, habits and hang-ups. We are learning how to grow spiritually and over time experience real and lasting change. We find freedom from past events and hurtful emotions, forward-looking we are taking personal responsibility for our choices, getting better together in separate men’s and women’s safe small group fellowships.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblically balanced approach to helping both teens and adults overcome painful memories and hurtful behaviors. Our goal is not simply to recover from our past; the goal is to become Christ-like in all areas of our lives; His character formed in us.

By applying the Eight Recovery Principles to our lives we are walking on God’s road to recovery. Working through the Twelve Steps we experience God's healing power, stepping out of denial, fear and shame into a personal relationship with a forgiving heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ.

Our Thursday meetings start at 5:30 for dinner. The Worship meeting starts at 6:30pm. At 7:00pm the Teen Program exits to the Chapel for their meeting that ends at 8:30pm. When the message is over at 7:30pm the adults break for their Open Groups. Solid Rock Café starts at 8:30, everyone is invited for snacks and more casual fellowship.
